Kabbalat Shabbat for Kids is a fun and informal way to celebrate Shabbat with your under 7s.  Join us for lots of singing, some prayers, a story, more singing and of course challah (!) on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of every month.

Services are held in Grantchester Village Hall (High Street, Grantchester, CB3) and doors open at 4.30pm for a prompt start at 4.45, to finish around 5.30.  Bring yourselves, your Shabbat spirit and your little ones. We look forward to welcoming Shabbat with you.

Wednesday 29th May, 19:45 for 20:00 start -  Balfour and Weizmann – the Zionist and the Zealot – a talk by Geoffrey Lewis. Geoffrey Lewis read history and law at Trinity Hall and joined a firm of solicitors until he retired in 1990. He lived in Hong Kong for 10 years where he opened his firm's Far Eastern office, and then worked for the Hong Kong government. He has published four books on the lives of eminent people.
